Join Energy Communities Alliance this week is for two discussion based webinars that cover both the front end and the back end of the nuclear fuel cycle. 

First, on Wednesday, April 2, ECA is hosting: Open For Business: - New Nuclear Opportunities. Dr. Goff, the Acting Director, and Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Nuclear Energy will kick off the discussion and be joined by:

Second, on Thursday, April 3, 2025, a webinar hosted jointly by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Department of Nuclear Energy, the Office of Nuclear Energy | U.S. Department of Energy, and the Energy Communities Alliance will provide information on the implementation of Canada’s Plan for the long-term management of radioactive waste. This webinar will be delivered by senior staff of Nuclear Waste Management Organization (NWMO), the organization responsible for radioactive waste and spent fuel management in Canada.
